Applying & Collecting the Academic Transcript

Undergraduate Students

  • Normally it will take 2 Senates (2 months), in order to students to be eligible to collect the Academic Transcript.
  • Every Student needs to apply for the Academic Transcript by handing over a transcript application to the Examinations Division. Therefore please download the Undergraduate Transcript Application from the ‘Downloads’ menu, fill it and hand it over to the Examinations division. Also read the instructions in the Transcript Application very carefully and act accordingly, before you hand it over to the Examinations Division. 
  • When you come to collect the Academic Transcript, you should bring the Student Record Book and the Student Identity Card.
  • If either of this is missing, you have to bring your National Identity Card, a police report along with a request letter addressed to Senior Assistant Registrar Examinations, saying that you are handing over a police report to the Examinations Division as you have lost the Student Record Book/Student Identity Card.
  • The student should come in person to collect the (open) Academic Transcript. If you are unable to come to collect the (open) Academic Transcript, your spouse (if married) or one of your parents can collect the (open) Academic Transcript. The person should present the Student Record Book, the Student Identity Card, a request letter from the student as well as the National Identity Card of the person who comes to collect the (open) Academic Transcript. If your spouse comes to collect the (open) Academic Transcript, the original of the marriage certificate should also be presented.
  • If the student has not paid the postal charges, the student should come in person to collect the Addressed Transcript. If you are unable to come to collect the Addressed Transcript, your spouse (if married) or one of your parents can collect the Addressed Transcript. The person should present the Student Record Book, a request letter from the student as well as the National Identity Card of the person who comes to collect the Addressed Transcript. If your spouse comes to collect the Addressed Transcript, the original of the marriage certificate should also be presented.
  • When you are applying for an Addressed Transcript,  you need to attach a copy of your (open) Academic Transcript along with the application.
  • Refer the second page of the transcript application and Students are required to settle any dues they owe to the university before claiming for the (open) Academic Transcript.
  • Certified copies of the (open) Academic Transcript can be obtained by paying Rs. 250/= per each copy. You should have the original transcript with you, when requesting the certified copies.
  • Any payment associate with the Academic Transcript should be paid to the university Shroff, which is open during 9.00 A.M. to 3.00 P.M. every week day. (Please note that Shroff may be closed during the lunch hour which is 12.30 P.M. to 1.30 P.M.)

Postgraduate Students

  • Before Applying for the Academic Transcript, students need to hand over the 'Clearance Form' to the Examinations Division. Fill the 'Clearance Form' according to the given instructions and then hand it over to the Examinations Division. Therefore please download the Postgraduate Transcript Application from the ‘Downloads’ menu, fill it and hand it over to the Examinations division. Also read the instructions in the Transcript Application very carefully and act accordingly, before you hand it over to the Examinations Division.
